I have sprayed mine with 2-3 different colors and they do blend in better. Doesn't seem to slow the snare. That said, this is my first year using snares and I have a lot to learn. I am thinking of getting Mark Steck's 100,000 miles of snareing; sounds like it might have a lot of useful info....not trying to redirect.

Hi Jimmy. I did move to Idaho but they have skanky looking ponds here too! I may try that next spring on some new snare. Take care.
