And another pretty nice otter.

We have a nice bear that won't go to sleep and has been giving us fits on the line. He likes to chew on boxes and tubes.

Outstanding! So, what you going to do with the cat? It looks like a very good one also.

It will go to Melby to get tanned. He has all of his "first" animals tanned. He is 46 inches on the board. Big cat but terrible colors.

He still needs a Marten (Season just closed so that will need to wait until 2019), Badger (Few and far in between in this area) and a stinking coyote. I hate coyotes!

Congrats to Logan. He is having a great season. And you are going to have quite thebtanning bill!!

I think it is great that you are helping this young man get into outdoor stuff. I hope he sticks with the Trapping as he gets older.

Congratulations, you guys! That is a huge cat and nice looking too. Great bunch of critters and very cool pictures. That bear needs to be taught a lesson.

I admit, I was a little nervous being a 1/2 mile from the truck with a 10 year old kid and hearing the bear crashing around us. I felt under gunned with the 22 revolver. Yesterday I went alone with a short barreled 12 gauge double barrel and slugs and felt much better.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Good job Rob in getting Logan those "first". One down 9 to go !

Winter bears are always a little nerve racking, especially when it gets dark so soon and they always put there paws where the box opens with a conibear blocking. That's when you wonder will the staple go first or the swivel ferret end give out first?

Rally swagged those ferrules on so I believe he would need to pull the cable in two before the ferrule came off!

Nice job Logan! Yeah, that would be no fun to run into a hangrery bear this time of year.

The kid was fine! I told him to smear that bacon grease all over on him. Bears hate that and it will keep them away.

Thanks for sharing. Great cat and better smile. That is a real diversity of fur bearers, greys, reds, cats, otter and a black bear.
