Should the window go just above the penis hole on males and just below the last set of tits on females ? On my 4xl coons the window looks long, but I don't remember seeing penis holes on any of the finished fur at the state sale. -Thanks

Yes, my inspection windows go up to the penis hole. Not sure if you're using wire or wood forms - Your window could also look longer if you're using a narrower board, I would put up a 4XL coon on an 8" board

I've been using 7 1/2' boards for everything as it's all I have . I'll have to make up some 8" wide boards.

I would never extend the window height above the penis hole. In fact If your making the right opening cuts you shouldn't have to make any cuts for the window.

Most guys put to much leg fur on the belly side of the board. this closes up the window. no more then 1" of leg fur on the belly side. Then bring all the fur to the back and pin It.

The grader Isn't interested In the belly fur and with a long window that's all your showing. It's the flank fur that they are interested In viewing. Don't close up that lower portion of your window.

30" down from the nose Is where your boards should measure 7 1/2" the base Is a mote point.

Yes that's where my boards are at, 7 1/2" at 30" When I make my window I'm only cutting about 2" -3" up to get the hole cut out and only trim less than 1/4" down both sides to give it a cleaner look. I didn't see penis holes in the NAFA or Fur Harvester manual so I assumed it got cut out.
