I had my heart set on a Tacoma. I had been driving a GMC Sierra 1500. I drove several Tacoma's and just couldn't stand the terrible ride. I ended up with a Silverado double cab with a 6'6" box for about $4,000 less. I love the ride, the towing capacity and the gas mileage is about the same, better when towing. Did I mention how much more room there is, both inside and out?

6'3", 255 pounds, switched to a Ford Ranger to save on gas about 12 years ago, realized real quick the savings was very minimal. Sold it quickly and am now in a F-250 diesel and will
never go back, just no room in those little trucks.

HINT HINT the tail gate lets down on most full size trucks lol

My boss bought a Nissan Frontier for my work truck. Based on this one I would stay away from them. 8.6 miles per gallon... on a good day.

I have always driven full sized chevys and love them. I was going to buy a new one in July but spotted this "retro" one this spring and had to have it. It is like a brand spanking new 1983. [Linked Image]

I have nothing clever to put here.

I'v had 3 Tacoma's. First one a 08 with 4 cyl got 25 mpg all the time. Second one 2013 got bad milage 16 mpg both had 4 cyl motors. this one 2015 with the 6 cyl gets 22 mpg all the time, I like the tacoma's. I also have an older Dodge diesel pick up that I bought new as well, I use the Dodge to pull the boat, camp trailer and haul wood

wouldn't have anything but a full size truck. get a bedslide and you never have to crawl up on that bed again.

Walk into a dealer looking for a truck to use as a truck and they look at you strange, more "Sunday" trucks then work trucks on the lots here the majority are 4 door Cowboy Cadillac's!
