Just heard that another Yukon trapper had to kill a grizzly. He scared it away from his cabin, but it came back during the night and tried getting in through a window.

Griz are out in the Yukon and no snow in Alaska, while we have no had above freezing temperature for a month, nothing but dead gray skies and snow. Even with bears, I live in the wrong Arctic section of Minnesota.

I did and you're right, there's some truly heartless and ignorant people in this world. May I offer my sympathies to this poor soul in what has to be a dark time for him.

Very sad event. We had a few out later this year too. Had one buddy getting his marten eaten by a grizzly until about third week of November.
