door to door works just fine unless your squeamish.
You may think before you act. The question is did you listen to your own council?

door to door works just fine unless your squeamish. The reason I don't wanna do door to door is cause I live in South Florida in a more urban area, and the farmland is not concentrated near me so it wouldn't be very efficient. And a lot of the homes on the farms are fenced off from what ive seen on google maps. Put a sign up or your card on the bulletin board in the local coffee shop and co-op. That would be seen by 99% of the farmers here. So i should probably advertise myself then instead of trying to find landowners who will let me trap?

2 other places to check out, the CO. of that area, and the dog catcher (or what ever they're called now) . I'd think most people would call these for a critter problem. Dennis

leave your contact info w/ the county agricultural extension office, this would be the center for information for most farmers.

I called FWC and they didn't have a list unfortunately:/ Not a lot of horse farms near me, but theres a ton of sugar farms. Do sugar farms have nuisance animals? Like do furbearers eat the sugar cane and cause problems for the farmers? I'll have to try to get in contact with the municipal wildlife control guys near me, but I am curious if Sugar cane farms have nuisance animals because like i said theres tons by me Rodents in cane fields big time. I'd think that opens up for predators.

In MN there is a Facebook page called MN FARM AND PETS. A lot of people post every thing about animals from sales to illnesses to nuisance animal removal. FL may have one also or something similar.

I've moved around a few times for work. It's a little slow getting started in a new area, but nothing gets things going faster than knocking on a door or two. You might meet one or two folks that are suspicious of new people, but for the most part you'll find nice folks. I recommend knocking on just a door or two, and then ask them for referrals, even if they send you packing. You might ask them if they happen to know another farmer, or anyone with enough land to trap that might let you on there. It might take a couple of seasons before you get yourself established, but it's gonna take even longer is you don't put yourself out there. It's free to try. Joe

I am seeing mole mounds in yards, this is Dec. but I will put a flyer in the doors where I see the mole damage in just to let them know I am around and trap moles. Just a flyer, because it takes to long to talk with someone that does not need your service 4 or 5 months from know. JMO
