Phil Swift would say to use Flex-Seal. But then you have to drive around un a boat made of old screen doors
Let's go Brandon

The UV protected GOOP's are good but I have found nothing that holds up longer than AquaSeal( except old fashioned vulcanized rubber patch, but most rubber is now too low grade for them to hold and poor choice for bottom of boot. If hole is not too large tire plugs might work.

Id try some super glue squirted good up in the hole. The stick may have been the size of a pencil, but you didn't lose any rubber so that should work.

I'm an Aqua-seal guy. What I would do is try to clean it some with lacquer thinner. Then work aqua seal into the hole so you know it's completely covered. I do think the tire plug would work but you may actually have to make the hole bigger to do it. What ever you try let us know how it works when your done.. I haven't studied up on it but I do believe the NP-1 is in the same family with Aqua-seal. What ever you use needs to stay flexible which I believe supper glue type products do not..

Mac True that but Im thinking only the toe portion does the flexing on the sole. Im not sure where the hole is on his boots./

Get one of those tire patchs with the plug as a part of the patch. Put the patch on the inside with the plug sticking out the bottom. You will have to remove the insulation. Put it back ontop the patch and trim off the plug level with the sole
