I’ve known a couple of guys who’ve worn ear rings. When asked, it was to commemorate the lives of their children lost to drugs and such. It’s their business what they wear so I don’t ask anymore.
Never too old to learn

I always thought it was because those men were heavy into pirate movies. When I was a kid, they were the only men that wore ear rings. PSB ......what’s the fox count up to ?

The original reason for men to wear earrings was supposedly because most sailors were so poor that they would save up until they had enough to buy a gold earring so that when they died there would be enough funds to give them a proper burial.
Don't know if it is really true or not. Well, thats kinda Piratish.

Did you ever wonder why earrings became so popular with men? I always figured it was latent homosexuality? Same thing for man buns.
Eh...wot?

It was when a sailor ship had sunk and live from it. When a sailor cross the equator is when he become a shellback. You do not wear a ear ring for that.I am a shellback .
