I have a long list of things I did for a living, Wild land firefighter, Fish buyer, construction, Ran a city shop for many years, heavy equipment operator/mechanic. Trapper. I bought a house and lot one year with lynx skins. Started up a village owned fur dealership and built it into the largest raw fur buyer in Alaska, that continues on today, I taught trapping and fur handling in the western Alaska native villages. I am just a shareholder in the company now.

I am owner and operator of Alaska Enterprises, Maker of Alaska Moose Chews, antler dog chew toys.On Amazon.

Also have a commercial salmon fishing boat and permit and fish from mid June until mid September. I am really trying to retire. lol

Retired conventional machinist and CNC parts changer. Now my neighbors keep me busy with all their projects. Told them I was retiring from that too but they won't let me!

You only live once, so get over it!

Tactics may change but the goal remains the same.

Was a machinist the first 5 years, owned a trapping supply, fur buying and animal control business for over 10 years, fishing lure business for 7 years and the last 22 years as a project manager for a commercial roofing company. Will semi-retire next May and drop to 3 days a week until I decide not to. Then I'll do whatever I want for as long as I can.

57 years trapping. It's who I am. Every day is still as exciting as it was when I was a kid but a little more work.
