Funny, I was looking at that pic after I posted it here and thought that same thing!

The fox population must be booming, I've got twelve within two miles of the farm so far. I let most of them go except the real big heavy dark ones.

It's a #2 I had set with a hair trigger for some mink running along the side of a culvert. I think it's a long tail, his tail is 6-7" long. The other weasels I've been catching have 3-4" tails.

I pulled the trap. His front legs were in rough shape and froze to the trap.

WoodL. Had the same thing happen this morning. Have had a fox showing up on camera every 3 days. Set for it and got a opossum. There was never a opossum on that trail cam.

yup, never fails.....
Youngest one is hoping for a cat for Christmas .... We will see.
Reset this one today ( i have never caught anything but coons in a possum remake) and put in a new set with some more visual appeal today, using some garland as flagging.

Thanks. I think that was the same one I had on the trail cam. I wasn't far from where the pic was taken.

I just looked at the weasel, and it does have yellowing on the back legs and tail area.

A buddy of mine caught a possum in a #3 bridger that had 3 feet in the trap. No telling what it was doing to make the trap fire.
