For those who claim their party is based on the teachings of the scriptures I find some of this woefully ironic. No respect for those who want to defend those who are unable to defend themselves. Doesn’t take a preacher to explain why that is an inherently unchristian point of view. And Christ was a pacifist. If someone strikes your cheek, then give them your other cheek. Except for the pro-life bit (which I wholeheartedly agree with) not a lot of this lines out with what Christ taught in the scriptures. I have no respect for anyone who would totally and completely judge someone based on a label. On one aspect of a human being. Other than that i try my best to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately it looks like the USA will continue to keep sliding downhill......It looks like it is just a matter of time until the progressives get their agenda rolling full steam again. Just looking at the way Colorado has gone downhill is a prime example.

Well, the modern Democratic party is for a socialist state:

1. Open borders and illegal immigration.
2. Not gun control but an outright ban.
3. Free government education.
4. Free government healthcare.
5. Giving illegals the right to vote.
6. Gender neutrality
7. Islam
8. Killing the unborn
9. Discrimination against white people.
10. Rioting and intimidation tactics
11. Violence when they disagree, including terrorist organizations such as BLM and ANTIFA
12. Fighting non existent man made "climate change" which is nothing more than trying to redistribute wealth.
13. Raising taxes to pay for it all leaving you with nothing and in the end giving you nothing but government dependence.


This is just off the top of my head and it only took about 1 minute of thought I could go on and on and on. This is what you Democrats vote for every time no matter how you try to spin it with your "pride". To believe or say otherwise makes you either intellectually dishonest, unable to pay attention, a "useful idiot" or all of the above.

Native, the outcome of any conflict is never gauranteed, but at least let the rest of us have every advantage- so please stop being a Democrat and sucking up whatever little bit of of freedom and decency that is left in this country.

While I agree that we would all get along without bump stocks, I also agree with Uncle Ted. "Give them NOTHING". Anything we give them will start the snowball rolling downhill. They really have no interest in bump stocks......it's just a place to start. Socialism has always failed and has always began by disarming citizens. Amazing that so many are still blinded by the reality.

You didn't have to vote for Trump, mask bandit. Right here is a list of all the presidential candidates in the 2016 election, we had a lot more than the two major parties to choose from. There are 32 different ballot-qualified political parties in the US, plus tons of other state level and un-ballot qualified candidates. Don't feel stuck in the two party system, if you feel like your vote only matters if you vote inside that system, then that's all we'll ever have. Research and vote your conscience. Trump is a former democrat recently turned republican, it shouldn't surprise anyone that he's anti-gun.

Loose goose , I have voted libertarian before , just didn't like the picks they had. Next time I vote I'm writing in God for the president and Jesus Christ for vice president. For all I know I will never vote republican or democrate.

But they don't all hit the ballots in every state. The only 'third parties' that made in on the Ohio ballot was the Libertarian and Green Party as far as the presidential ballot. Occasionally a constitution or conservative party candidate makes it on in the down ballot.
