Flavoring Food With Beaver Butt Juice

Furminator makes a beer with it “Beaver Butt Brown” that’s pretty amazing.

I've tasted plenty of castor over the years, and it wasn't all that pleasant anytime I had it. Most times it was from cookouts where folks didn't know how to properly clean the beaver, and the meat got contaminated with the castor. I reckon what I had was greater than four parts per million.

Sac oil on beaver meat is pretty awful too. When we are going to eat one I skin it on the dining room table so I can keep it clean. Then while I'm doing the plew my wife bones out the carcass. I'm not sure what all goes into that crockpot but what comes out is wonderful

down south years back, we were skinning beavers on the tailgate at a country store where we gassed up every day, and always sold a few carcasses. I always "bled out" the castors before skinning, and a guy asked what it was. told him it was an aphrodisiac and it drove women wild. we bled one into a dixie cup and sent him on his way. couple days later he was there waiting for us. said it worked great in his girlfriends beer, and he wanted more. just sayin'...………………………………………..

I'm gonna pass on beaver butt butter, some things aint meant to be ate. I don't eat animals balls either but some people sure seem to enjoy them.

Do a little research you ARE eating it if you eat anything with vanilla flavoring and some raspberry .....

In the article it shows that very little if any is used anymore in mass food production because it isn’t kochur.

Yep, I don't know how many folks have told me beaver tastes awful, and it's gotta be because they've smeared castor juice all over when they dressed it.

I will just leave this here... seems a growing trend.
