And I thought a colonoscopy was a pain in the arse.....
The real Wounded Knee is just west of me....a neighbor was Principal there for a year. The school was giving gift cards to parents as an incentive to get their kids to go to school.

Yeah it was fun. If you look just below the last screw it looks like there's a hole in my tibia..... That's because there is. They put me in an external fixator while they had me splayed open like a fish to control the compartment syndrome. That's where one of the giant screws where. I have a pic here somewhere of a friends kid playing ring toss on the screw.

Sheepdog PM'ed me. I think he hit the nail on the head. It's tendonitis. I have it in both elbows and I know what the pain feels like. It's the same. I just didn't know we had a tendon in that area (right on top of the kneecap). Actually I was doing pretty well today until about 3 hours ago. I fleshed that beaver and I must lock my knees or do something else when fleshing because when I was done fleshing and boarding, I could not walk. I crawled back to the house. Now I'm on the couch with a bag of ice ace bandaged to my knee, elevated, 600mg of Ibuprofen and generous amounts of Captain and coke for the pain. If I get crazy tonight, I apologize ahead of time. I'll be looped! grin
