Had a fellow ask me about aging bobcat glands and was concerned with flies. The ones I have done in the past I added urine to them when I ground and put in jar and flies didn’t bother. How do some of you guys age cat glands? I have some that are ten years old and are a thick liquid. I think I had them sealed within a tied up garbage bag for a couple of years.

You can have him send those cat glands to me and he wont ever need to worry about those nasty flies.

LOL

He has almost a gallon of them. He doesn’t want to take chances of losing them. The rather liberal amount of urine I used in mine was what I supposed deterred the flies. Mine were in a couple of quart jars with canning lids loosely not all the way tightened down.
