Well, I couldn't walk this morning. By afternoon I could limp around a little. Luckily, Goldnut was around this afternoon and gave me a hand pulling my small beaver line (thanks again buddy). I only had a few traps set and had the intention of setting more but there is just no way I can tend to the line. I'm bummed, one of the nicest beaver seasons we have had in PA for quite a few years and I'm down and out. I was planning on a coon line in the same area also, the fur is nice this time of year in my area and we have had some warm nights. Perfect coon trapping weather. I did manage to get another beaver today. Probably a two year old, 15-20 lbs . I froze him whole, I can't stand long enough to skin it. I guess I have to stop everything to get this knee better. If it's like this next month, I won't be able to go back to work. So it has to take priority. GETTING OLD SUCKS! But at least you guys will luck out, maybe I'll be on more often!

I hear ya Finster. I have had a Achilles tendon inflammation for the last 5 month. I am supposed to rest that foot. But how can one do that and work?? Hope you get better soon.

I feel for ya O one scared of yellow jackets. That's the Indian name I have given you lol. It truly sucks when your heart aches to be out there in the woods, creek banks and fields, and your body, says no. I was blessed this year with being able to run a groundhog line and then a short coon line before I had to call for help to pull it. Hang in there scared of yellow jackets and may next season be your best!

I am with pcr2, those ticks just plane out scare me. Weird symptoms I would be suspicious and get checked for the lyme......jk

Sorry to hear. I hope you get better. I missed 2 weeks of prime yote trapping because of a bad back, and I’m only 42. Old hay burner injuries.

My brother had a knee issue flared up overnight with no injury could barely get around got into an orthopedic pretty quick. Done a mri or cat scan and dr told him it was an arthritic issue got a cortisone shot and some meds and within a day he was back at it. Get it looked at ASAP might not be as bad as you think.

Take some Ibuprofen daily. For a while.

Hope you get better. Bet I know what a family Dr will tell you. "Take this anti inflamitory and start Physical therapy". Come back in 2 weeks.
