Anyone done any experimenting with combining (rendered or fresh) saq oil and beaver tail oil as a curiosity lure for both beaver and k-9's?

Tony, were the coyote glands fresh or aged ?

I must agree john sac oil is excellent. Once you learn how to handle and apply it for predators

I have heard that there is little value on saq oil, but I harvest every pair of oil saq's I can when I remove the castors. Some I freeze and some I render for a couple of years. I've used saq oil in my beaver castor lure and alone as well as a curiosity lure of fox and coyote. I like its water shedding ability and was just wondering if it would work well with bto.

What can it hurt? Experiment with percentages, and come up with something they respond well to. It's obviously going to be a curiosity lure, so the different ingredients will make them respond well, when you hit it just right. I use sac oil in my homemade predator curiosity lure.
Add some rat glands, a touch of castor...maybe a secret ingredient...and kick their arse. The sky is the limit. That's the fun part.
