Truck was almost empty when I dropped off on the 27th. Don't get it as the first sale is always very good to me.

Yes sir, that’s quite a difference. Driver at my pick up said harvest is down nation wide. My brother in Saskatchewan dropped his fur off on the 4 of January and he had a dozen rats with his coyotes and they said it’s the first rats they seen this season. That is crazy for out there. No really crazy. I would get over 1000 rats a year for the last 10 seasons plus. The area I trap has lost most of the small sloughs(3-4 acres ponds) are gone. Rats have all but dissapeared. Same thing that happened to North Dakota a few years back. Not sure if it was tulerimia? Or what happened. There are probably some areas that have rats. I have seen a few in big lakes this fall but the prairie potholes were crawling with them till two years ago. They'll be back once we get some water back. No idea when that will happen. Coyotes are way down this year to. Truck was 1/4 of the fur than last years drop.
