I know this topic has been brought up on here multiple times but I would love to see how people display their pelts.
After years of building up brownie points, the wife has finally given me the ok to hang fur in our bedroom. So, now how to display the pelts? I have access to slabs of old log cabin logs, diamond willow, birch, deer and moose antlers, etc.
Thank you!

X2 Put a push pin into a wall & park a nose on it, easy peasy.

Right, I know a nail in the wall is the simplest option. I guess what I was looking for would be other ideas that guys have. For example, I've seen people screw antler tines to barn wood and hang furs, use milled or half logs and hung pelts from them, or even used free standing coat racks made of various materials to hang pelts from. Just looking for ideas.

I drape beaver pelts over the furniture, and hang on the wall by the nose. If I had a good sewing machine, I'd wear some as hats.

I like that, Les. Thanks. We need to get a line of beaver clothes and accessories fashion trend going here in LOTW County!

I’ve got some hanging from nails and a few hanging off elk antlers that are stacked on top of gun safes.

I'm surprised that more images haven't been posted. Some of the trappers on here probably have some real "WOW" ways to display their catches. Anyway, thought you may enjoy this one...

That's awesome, Gulo. Great idea and beautiful pelts. That ol' skunk bear is sweet!

I've seen some guys weld a double spring or coil spring in the set position, hang it on the wall and hang furs off of that- it looked cool. I'm thinking of that idea currently.

Top Lot Stretcher Co has actual fur displaying boards that they sell, here ill attach a link.
They are made of hardwood oak and seem really well made to me! I guess you could also make your own if you want.

P.S. If the link isn't working just copy the text in the parentheses and paste it into a search bar, then it should pop up.

I have a pair of snow shoes about like them. I'd have to take the fur down all the time to use them, lol. Very nice though.

I am looking around, very slowly, for a good fur sewing machine. I am ambition challenged though.

Why is it that fox tails always twist like that when tanned?
BTW. Nice display.

Someone said about hanging them on a coat rack, I’ve been thinking about getting rid of this one but kept it now it’s in my mancave

I like that look grayfox54. Nice pelts. I was thinking of something similar to that but using peeled and chewed beaver sticks/logs as the post and feet and then antler tines for the hooks.
