Venison Meatloaf. Spread it out once mixed on some wax paper over a cookie sheet. Cover with cheese then roll it up from one edge for a cheese swirl venison meatloaf. Use sweet baby rays in lieu of ketchup when mixing.

Boy, I hate to be the voice of dissent here, but fry that stuff up and feed it to the dog. Take your family to Appelbees where they can eat a cow, or a chicken, even pig or seafood, not something you picked up off the forest floor. That is, if you're talking about feeding them something good.

Seasons pretty much just wraped up! how much venison have you eaten already? I got three deer in the freezer. Hoping to add at least on more before late flintlock ends in two weeks. I've been having venison scrapple most mornings with my eggs. I made venison-vegetable stew yesterday, probably going to have leftovers tonight. I have about fifty pounds of sausage meat in the freezer. As soon as the season ends I'll make apple-venison sausage and well have that at least once a week until it runs out.
Eh...wot?

I can tell you are from P.A. Lugnut. Scrapple. A friend of mine goes to a camp down there. He said he is not a fan of that stuff. lol

I am not a fan of the traditional pork scrapple either. I do like the venison scrapple I make though.

Hal, you always make me laugh. Nearest Applebees in these parts would be 100 miles one way.
Thank you for all the ideas,

We have been eating 2 gal of venison chili for the last week or so. I can eat that every day with some fresh bread sliced and buttered with some smuckers strawberry jam on top. Got 40 plus Lbs. of venison burger in the freezer. That meatloaf recipe looks good. Baby rays and brown sugar makes everything taste good or better. Gonna have that meatloaf tomorrow. I will most likely cover the meatloaf with some fresh slab bacon strips before baking. Hal if you ate some of my chili you would never eat apple-bees chili again, you would get the Mrs. to make a batch up for you. Restaurant food isn't near as good as what I make when I get in the mood to cook.
