Me and a couple friends headed to lower Ohio to hit some game lands with the squirrel dog. Was wondering if any of you Ohio fellas could give me a name of a wildlife area that may have some fox squirrels on it. Or if you want to tag along with us or have somewhere better to go that would be fine too. Thinking about coming not this weekend but next.

Cooper Hollow possibly or Tycoon lake but everytime I try hunting public I only see greys and it seems like the fox squirrels arent as populous as they used to be.

Greys,in my opinion, taste MUCH better than fox squirrels.

Why not the Wayne National Forest? A pile of land. Or come further north, I get 100's of trail cam pics of those darn things, its almost as if they pose.

Like Bass10 said. Wayne national forest should be good. A lot of ground.
I have not had a dog in several years but I love a good squirrel dog.

Up here the parks and university has grays and the woods have fox squirrels. I don't think I've ever eatten a gray. I imagine that sounds odd to somebody thats used to seeing them squirrel hunting.

I've never been there but I'm gonna try and make there to. Looks good.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....
