I've never had problems with beaver or muskrats for 7 days ,(although the rats can get pretty soggy) how long can otter endure in a 330 under ice?

One of the best places to set for otter under the ice is at beaver dams, both old ones or live ones.Dont have to have a place where they can get thru, any place water is running thru will be checked out by otter.Doesnt have to be much current running, they will check it out.Great for multiple sets and catchesat one hole.220 is the trap to use so you can set close enough to the dam so the current is still the attractor and not have the traps freeze in.Bush run off ponds are prone to traps freezing in,since the water will drop over the winter by leaching out.Continuous flowing streams is where you want to make these sets.
