My son got his first skunk yesterday in a dp. Only 2nd one we caught in 2 years. But since it was in his trap that he set and baited I would like to get it tanned for him. There is a yellowish tint in the stripes? Any way to completely eliminate or atleast reduce? I washed it in peroxide, dawn, and baking soda. Then washed it in oxiclean to try to get the yellow out.

The tanning might lighten it up a bit but it will still be yellow in the end!

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Just get it tanned. It's a momento, it's not a specimen you're going to sell. I'd be careful doing anything else or you're risking slippage.
