I am planning on pulling my traps and taking a couple weeks off of trapping because of work. After that I am going to another farm to try my luck there. Before I reset my traps should I re-wax them? I have a few that I made catches in and several that I didn’t make a catch in. They have been in the ground for around a month.

If they did not make a catch I'd reuse them first depends on how many ya got and how many ya need!

A trap that didn't make a catch isn't dirty.

Thanks I was gonna wash all the mud off of them and let them air dry before I put them back in my tote. I am only on my second year of trapping and I only have a dozen leg holds and some dps. I’ll keep all the traps that made a catch separate from my clean ones.
