Badgers were pushing out today set 6 hot looking holes on the way to check cat sets. Seen a yote doing the mouse leap about a 100 yards off of the State Hwy but no gun I called a landowner that shoots yotes but he was on his way to town.

This was a pile of dirt thrown on the top of the snow.

You think a warmup might have them coming out? On the top of the picture in the sky is that overhead electrical wire, what I'm seeing?

That's off of the highway ROW trapping, them are wires just down the road a 100 yards was another huge mound across the road.

Thinking of making a big loop and just setting the ROW after the next snow later in the week, not sure it would pay but it would be fun maybe!

Do you run into any trouble ROW trapping in your part of the state Law Dog? like theft and such?

I set 6 snares and a 220 and never seen another person the whole time, but it has it's risk but most people won't notice them we have so many holes here and the badgers often will go down the hole and stay in the opening out of site. The Coni is risky they will come out of the rarely but most pull it into the hole and I give them the cable to go in a little ways.
