I buy 100 count donut shop for around $38-$42. I only drink one cup on my way to work then another cup that's brewed at work. I think its a great cup of coffee but on the weekends when I drink more I make a pot. Still expensive cup of coffee and the makers don't last long, a year or two usually is our limit.

Depends on how important your coffee is. I make coffee before I go pee or get dressed. Only one cup per day, and it is a religious experience for me. I drink Folgers Black Silk and can get it for .50 per cup on Amazon if I get 120 count. I'm spoiled.

Was a costco earlier getting gas $1.69 and ran in for water. They had some 100 count for $20.

McCafé for me. Tim Hortons dark roast sometimes to mix it up. Nothing beats percolated coffee though.

One trick l use for the Keriug is to preheat my mug with hot water before l place it under the machine takes a minute for it to come up to temperature. I than dump the hot water in the reservoir and start my brewing. That way my coffee stays hotter longer. ^^^^^ this is a good idea, i do the same and with heavy whipping cream added this helps keep it Hot!

my wife had to have a keurig several years back. when we had it i would price shop for the best per cup price locally, which generally meant buying in boxes of 100 or more after cleaning it a few times, i saved the gunk that came out of it and she was done with the thing. lots of nastiness.
we use a french press now

I'm pretty sure coffee tastes must be Regional, or at least it used to be. Several years ago when I visited friends and relatives in The Dakotas and Michigan I recall their coffee had the color of tea. Kind of like church coffee. Little to no flavor.
I don't know if that's because that's how people drink or drank it there, or if all those folks were just cheap-skates trying to stretch their coffee.
I suppose if that's the kind of coffee you grew up with Keurig would taste pretty good.

Some like it hot. Some like it cold. Some like it in the pot nine days old.
I make it one cup at a time as I want it fresh and start sipping when it stops dripping. I'm sure the cheap generic brand doesn't taste as good as a good name brand. Folgers Black Silk is the best I've found yet and it is a very strong cup of coffee. When I was in Alaska, I never had a bad cup of coffee.

My Credit Union has free coffee available for members, the only time I have Keurig coffee, and they know me well. That probably saves you more than the .00000000035% interest on your money in the bank.
