Moosetrot OP trapper M Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 7,179 Wisconsin	WTA District 5 is having their Winter Meeting this coming Saturday, January 19. It is being held at the Mondovi Conservation Club at W450 Youth Rd. just outside of Mondovi. Things will start at around Noon. The meeting starts at 1:00 with raffles following the meeting. New or lightly used prize donations are always appreciated. We will also be having a pot luck so please bring a dish to pass. This is always a great event with a chance to talk with other trappers, win some prizes, and get a bellyful of some of the best food around. Hope to see you there! Moosetrot

Smoked Beaver Baloney was the main fare along with a ton of dishes, mostly desserts, of course. My diet suffered a setback today! There were about 25 trappers in attendance and we actually got some business done during the meeting. Raffles were great as usual and I am now the proud owner of a WTA hooded sweatshirt (once they send me one in the right size) and a bunch of other stuff. Set aside June 22, 2019 for the WTA D5 Summer Rendezvous held at the Mondovi Conservation Club. Beautiful venue and a good time will be had by all! Moosetrot
