Seems odd they have any say over personal belongings in ones vehicle. Do they inspect ?

No she just cant take it in the building and needs a way to secure it while at work. Only problem i see with a safe is the first time she needs it , it will no doubt be locked up Just have to get in the habit of pulling it out at lunch and after work. Maybe a maggnet and the safe

Mostly want her to have it for the drive to and from work over 45 minutes each way. And half of its very rural. She doesn't stop on the way home if its dark out , she is the one that has asked for this and her ccw.
Good idea , this world is crazy. My wife has expressed some intrest in getting her cc recently as well

Harbor Freight has a small locking safe with a cable to secure it under the seat for $15 right now. I used to use a small metal locking first aid box bolted to the back wall behind the truck seat.

I use a pair of Smith & Wesson handcuffs. One through trigger guard and other to driver side seat frame. If somebody were to break in the first thing they would think of is it is some policeman's car.

Good point white17, please check work policy if even a weapon would even be allowed on "premises" including parking lot. In Nebraska even a cc wouldn't cover you for carrying at financial institutions and that could extend to parking lot not just inside the building itself. Am not familiar with Nevada law so please check that state law too as will as the company policy carefully. There are a few safes on market for vehicles, some with a little installation to do to secure safe to the vehicle interior frame, floor, etc. Saw one once was like a trigger lock with cable to attach to anchor point. Others are more like low profile box type safes that fit under seats and out of sight. Jim

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

In Kansas I can legally carry at my bank. I agree with on the seat covered by a garment. Holster rigger on top of the drivers visor is one of the best places to keep a handgun handy in a vehicle. Generally out of line of sight of someone at the window and you do not sweep yourself bringing it to bear on someone at the drivers window.
