This kid realy wanted to learn about trapping when i was in texas so i took him along as a student his worth ethic realy blew me away at 14 years old he worked harder in one day then ive seen grown men in a week im very proud of him he did a project for school on predator control i seen my ugly mug is in there to im the ugly red guy i hope you guys enjoy this.Hes a good example that thete is hope in younger generations i think i got a tear in my eye

Good on you. I have been taking a friend of mine’s son out with me the last 2 weekends also. He checked with me one day last weekend and we blanked, but we had some snow on and I got to show him some tracks. Yesterday, we caught a coon and that boy was pumped to say the least. I don’t think you could have fit his smile between his ears. He is hooked now. His dad says that it is all he has talked about for the last week. I pulled one of my DP traps yesterday where we caught the coon and let him take it home with him so he can have his own trap and gave him a gallon ziploc bag full of bait. Can’t wait until he gets one by himself. He wants to catch a fox something awful and I’ve been seeing some fox tracks the last few days. The farm he is checking with me has a little pocket of grays. I’m hoping to catch one while he is with me so he can take it home with him.
