I picked up the book "The cabin on no name lake" written by R.F.Carmen the other day. I haven't finished it yet, but highly recommend it. It is available through Sterling Furs. Open your mind and learn!

I may have to check that book out. I just finished, 50 Years a Hunter and Trapper by Eldred Nathaniel Woodcock. Pretty interesting read about a Trapper working the area around Coudersport, PA in the late 1800s to about 1912. My treestand read this past bowseason was, One Mans Wilderness, by Richard Proennecke. This one follows a mans journey as he buids a homestead cabin and stays through an alaskan winter. I highly recommend both.

I’ll try and get that bought Skye sounds good.

I just got done reading “ALONE AT DAWN” by Dan Schilling & Lori Chapman. It about Medal of Honor recipient John Chapman. First Medal of Honor recipient who’s actions were caught on camera from a drone. I believe the battle is on YouTube. True hero

I've read that book at least five times over the years. I have hunted and fish some of the places he talks about.
Another good one is Pioneer Days or 40 Years a hunter by Phillip Tomb. His family were some of the first to settle in north central PA when elk, wolves and panthers were still common.

Thanks for the tip on Cabin on No Name Lake.
