Rep Bridget Smith has now requested draft legislation to “Prohibit Snares on Public Land”.

Democrat politicians are always looking for an emotional issue that might swing voters to themselves. The less informed and emotional voters will flock to the cause. This is a big reason they are successful, people vote with emotions rather than logic and critical thinking. Liberal politicians recognize this.

Morning fella,
I believe there are currently 7 or 8 anti trapping bills before the legislature. We are under attack. A very vocal minority is trying to force legislation based on emotions.
Maybe it is time to sponsor a bill on dog free zones and enforce so leash laws.

Pat, retaliation would be a good thing! Find a legislator that will run with it, need to put the creeps on the defensive for a change!

I sent the following questions to Vore in an email -

Why is it these people who go onto public lands are not required to obey a leash law? Why are they not being fined for their dogs running ahead and harassing wildlife from birds to deer? Why are they not being fined for their dogs being caught in legally set traps by residents who have paid for their license through FWP? And last but least why is the Trapper has to make concessions to cater to irresponsible pet owners?
