I think you mean Commissioner, Bernie. The concern is valid but probably well above her head, at the Governor level. Yes I mean commissioner. Hope she doesn't have too much influence in these things.

About the same odds of MN although if the feds gave the greenlight tomorrow I believe we'd have a season next year.
Yep. Even some dem' s realize we need a season. I cut wolf tracks almost daily just east of you. There are a few as well plus west and south although you are in a better habitat. With Minnesota's new DNR director there is no chance we will have a wolf season until she is gone. JMO Why do you feel that way. I think you mean Commissioner, Bernie. The concern is valid but probably well above her head, at the Governor level. Yes I mean commissioner. Hope she doesn't have too much influence in these things. I believe and although I could be wrong, the language for a wolf season is still place.

I am not as pessimistic as many of you are. Management of species through seasons, research etc. has long been the standard here in WI. In fact in many cases there is a good chance that science may well be lifted up when it comes to managing wildlife.
Bryce I don't live in Wisconsin but I'm familiar with these scenarios.Don't hold your breath.

Crazy thing is with all the supposed pressure on these fragile wolves out west with over the counter licenses and liberal seasons, they now offer bounties to try and get them in check. ( I do not think this will work either ) With all this evidence why can't people see the forest but for the trees?
