I don't drink the hardstuff so it would effect me if it were illegal.
I rarely drink wine so they could pass a law agiast drinking/making it-wouldn't effect me.
I like to have a beer now and then-I want to keep drinking it when I want.
Don't smoke weed so it doesn't matter to me if it's outlawed.
I like cigars-I don't like all they anti tobacco talk.

But that's just me. I don't think pot is much worse than any of the other stuff, So who am I to tell folks what they should be allowed to do?
Let me to my vices and conduct yourself as you want.

I know some weed heads that seem to be wasting their lives, but I know more drunkards who do the same with their's.
Pot is here to stay. Let's let it be and collect the taxes from the users. Treat it just like alcohol.

Nothing good has come of many things listed here. Nothing good will come of this either.

I agree that none of it good for us, but so are high fat diets, too much red meat. sugar, salt..........everything in moderation. It's up to adults to choose and suffer the consequences for overdoing things. My parents taught me how I should live. It's up to me to take care of my self now-I don't need big brother.

People are stupid enough as it is,no need to encourage stupidity by legalizing marijuana.
Just look at our pot puffing mr dressup prime minister if you want to see what pot does to people.

No maybe you don’t. I have never heard of teens goading each other to try too much fat or salt, or that being a hazard to anyone but the individual. You or anyone else driving along with a big sweet candy bar or having just eaten too much steak aren’t a threat to anyone but yourself.
So be it. Nothing good. All about freedom handing liquor to Indians, they free to make a choice as well. It sure has worked out well for them.

I live in a place where the local people voted alcohol illegal, and cannabis legal. No meth or heroin here. The only drug deaths are from alcohol.

That's an interesting example Yukonjeff.
As for the point about teens, doesn't this happen everyday with alcohol? We can't be protected from everything. When it's abused, burn the abuser.

Why would teens need to goad each other into doing something the government already does for them ? Ever seen a school lunch lately ? Pure junk .

FYI, lots of cases of car wrecks due to strokes and heart attacks . Several due to diabetes , as well. They even appear drunk and have an odor similar to that as if they’d been drinking.

To give people a Stigma for smoking Marijuana is funny. Its not much Different from Alcohol. There are Lazy and uneducated drunks , just like lazy uneducated pot heads,no difference in my opinion.

I'm not sure about that....I spent a long week out and when I hit pavement the first place I stopped at was all you can eat steak buffet. I sat down, had a glass of water and ate enough steak that I thought I was going to pass out. I left but pulled over at the next establishment and took a nap. I was steak drunk and it was glorious.

Only thing I’d take exception to is it’s “ not much different from alcohol “.

Alcohol is waaaay different. It’s like weed’s PO’ed ,trailer trash ,distant cousin that everyone hopes won’t make it to the Fourth of July bash cause he always acts like an ***hole .

They tried alcohol prohibition and it failed, because people wanted it and were going to have it.
Weed is no different. It's prohibited, yet anybody can get it. Why waste the money fighting it? The war is lost.

Lots of bong water drownings and people choking on their Yoohoo's and nachos. It's epidemic.

However, Prohibition failed to curtail a drug that kills everyday. In fact !!...one of the few where withdrawal can be fatal.

People have strived to alter consciousness since time begin. Heck, it was one of the first little tricks you did as a kid .

"All the world will be potheads once it's legalized" is the EXACT same argument as " if we allow Constitutional Carry it'll be like the Wild West". Zero difference.

When I was in college, a long time ago, we smoked alot of illegal pot at college parties. Nothing new under the sun.
