I always thought they were rough fish and nobody bothered to weigh them. Wormy, I heard.

Iv caught a lot of crappie in western my, seems they get wormy around first of summer.. there fantastic through the ice and spring..

Get out, Les! Crappies are the purest angels of fish!!! Pull crappies out of any lake here filled with wormy bluegills and the crappies will have the purest, snow-white fillets without any parasites at all!!!!

(Okay, it occurred to me that you're just messin' with us. Sorry. I get a little crazy about crappies. )
