I agreed with Nittany that we shouldn't bring his thread down with negative comments... I stopped watching the NFL about the time those crybabies started kneeling and how the NFL handled it. So those of us not watching the game, what are you up to today? I'll be running my line checking sets. Might try to get some local cat sets in as well

ABF for me. (Anything But Football). Finished a couple knives this morning. Pound together 50 more wolf snares this afternoon, in between shoveling snow. Feed the wood stove in the steam bath in later afternoon for this evening's sweat. Truthfully, I don't even have any idea who's playing in the Stupor Bowl; couldn't care less. Don't have a TV.

Lots of tincturing of various ingredients, I started the agenda yesterday and will continue today. Beaver and cat meat to grind, oil sacs to drain, pods to grind. Getting low on many usable musk's, crystals, powders and herbs that need months to work out.

Time to get in shape for the shaking and agitation routine once again. I feel like a bartender when I start this routine.

Once that is done there will be the orders to pack to get ready for Monday. Lost interest in football for good about the same as others that feel the same as I do.

I have plenty of other more enjoyable things to do and then put some fur up. Getting this all done will put me into tonight real easy then its time to bring in more firewood for a few days.

Weather is getting very warm as I type this, almost 60 here, unreal weather swing in a couple days. Below zero 2 days ago.

I was recently doing some remodeling work for a customer and I found out she worked for cable company that supplies my service. So naturally I complained about the high cost of basic cable which I rarely watch. I ask her about any lesser packages.

She told me that by losing the "sports package" I could save $27.00 per month. The only time I watch that group of five channels is about twice a month when free UFC MMA fights are on. MMA is the only sport that interests me. I now pay $27.00 less per month.

When I told her I'd have to find some other way to watch the free fights, she informed me that, as a cable company employee, she gets everything, even the premium channels and PPV's for free and that I was welcome to watch the fights at her house anytime I wanted to!

I stopped watching most Pro sports back in the 90s (MLB strike, NBA lockout) because they were evolving into something i didnt like and the incredible greed shown by players. Since i dont have any traps set right now (been so wet) i will probably watch MLF (major league fishing), do a little work around the house, and take my boy to basketball practice. Yall enjoy your football free day!

Yep..When this all started I stopped any and all accounts and the places that supported the NFL and the league..So...No super bowl today or forever for that matter..Adios

The Rams have a guy cheer leader.
The local VFW showed all the NFL games this season.
One player makes more moolah than all these haters combined.
Heck, the refs make 200k and can't afford glasses.

Got some canvas to sew for a customer and when I am done with that and posting some bs on here I'll cut the pipes and bars for my DIY chainsaw mill, drill and tap the holes that need to be in it. If it stops raining I may even stat up the big generator and weld the thing together. Don't have time for NFL and if I had the time I would watch barnacles build their homes instead of watching the Super Bowl .

Yup, it is very disconcerting but pretty standard behavior in this country today.

I've never been into sports....and until now, I didn't know it was the Superbowl day....


Sunday routine will commence....get off work, maybe grab some groceries...head home and let the dogs out, take a nap, wake up and work on a flintlock longrifle in the basement till I get tired again. Lol.


Saturdays I work a 2nd shift and Sundays I work a 1st....can't hardly sleep in between shifts...hence the nap. And fighting whatever cold/flu bug is going around here.
