I had the halftime show muted because I was not the least bit interested and had no idea who the entertainers were but I happened to glance at the TV and saw that dude rocking that fur coat. One of the highest profile events of the year. Great exposure for fur. Wonder if NAFA or Fur Harvesters had anything to do with it being in the show?

Is there such thing as giant ranch gray fox? Those individual pelts must be 4 feet long, or that guy is under 5 feet tall.

Ranch fox- inter specie hybrid. Vulpes vulpes X Alopex lagopus--red fox type X blue fox type. Can only be done with artificial insemination. There are lots of different colors but I think the marketing name for this one is Sapphire Gold.

I saw on Facebook group that someone was thinking it could be the Fire and Ice ranch fox. I can't find an good picture of one but one of the ranch fox sites does have a picture. Still think the black banding is more coyote than fox.

There are nearly as many color phase ranch fox as there are ranch mink. I'm guessing something like "shadow fox" color phase, I think I heard that of that color at one time or another.

Whatever color it is, it's good for the fur industry. I'll bet you could sell a boat load of those coats this next week or two if you were in the right neighborhood. The African American community in The USA loves fur, it's a huge potential market; They are practical enough to not have a bit of interest in "animal rights".
