Guys, I have a question for other states trap tag requirements,

Do any of you have to have ALL the following information - Your Name, Address and Telephone Number on the trap tag?

Maine requires full name and address.

In PA we need a name& address is all. Or, you can get an ID number instead.

Utah needs the is number. That's all the rest is courtesy

address or D.L. number in NE

Illinois-Name and address OR Name and customer ID number from DNR.

Idaho requires either name and address or Trapper ID number. Wife and I trap together, so both Names or Numbers on the same tag, and we can check each other's sets.

Alaska, at least when I left there 11 years ago, did not require traps or snares to be tagged.

NY. Name and address OR license no. No tele.

I did this for NY: Name, License number....and email address. And I made an email like this: lostandfound@myfamilydomainname.com

So maybe I could keep them even if I got a new phone number.

Mo was full name and addy, but was changed to allow use of your state consevation ID #.

I stamp " put it back,your on camera" on mine.

Trap tags are worthless and should not be required anywhere!

NO ONE should touch a legally set trap and a trap tag on it does not prove ownership, therefore there is NO good reason to require them.
