Yeah the remote works great at that distance to. I also think mine is loud enough. I tested the volume, had my wife at a distance of more than 1/4 mile (maybe 1/2) and she heard it loud and clear. While we were testing it i had a coyote come in to about 15 yards.

This is the one I just got to replace my old Crossfire. The Crossfire still worked good just wanted a bit more volume. Going to be hard to find a better choice for the money IMO. You can choose the 100 calls you want on it and they program it before they ship it to you. 100 calls is ALOT I typically use maybe 25 of them at all. Hope that helps Marty!

Marty. If your set on getting an ecall, get o good one.
Will be more money but with this coyote market, very possible to have it paid off quik.
Personally, I'd get the FoxPro fusion.

FoxPro is American made!!!! Ask who owns these other companys and were these other calls are made. Also how good is the warranty and turn around time. When people talk about predator calls they always use Foxpro as a reference point to start from. I owned Foxpro for probably 20 years. I do like there top of the line calls. I tried there cheaper calls but always end up with there upper end priced calls.

Do yourself a favor and buy the power charger and rechargeable batteries they burn through them in the cold.

X2 you don't need to buy the FoxPro brands though. There are rechargable batteries/charger cheaper on Amazon, better batteries too.

I have used FoxPro for many years. Recently purchased a Lucky Duck Revolt from the Verminator (Rick Paillet). Have only had it out a couple times. Sound quality is better/louder than my FoxPro. Built in decoy and ability to rotate call from remote is a huge advantage. I am not sold on how well the call itself will hold up as I think the FoxPro is a bit more sturdy (I am hard on equipment). As far as sounds go Rick's sounds are second to none! Maybe it is just something new but I do think that the sounds that Rick has on these calls are more realistic and have really produced for me. Excited to get out more and continue to test the new Lucky Duck. So far I would give it the nod over the fox pro.
