Looking at taking my boys on a guided fishing trip for either bluecat or spoonbill in Oklahoma. Anybody been on any good guided trips for either species in Oklahoma other than at Lake Texoma? Any recommended guides? Any guides to steer clear of?

Bunch guys and gals from Tman got together in March for spoonbill at Twin Bridges State Park on Grand Lake for the past several years, you might pencil in the 3rd full weekend in Mar, as that's when it usually goes down. A few or several bring boats and post pictures of the fish they snag.

Yeah, i know bluecat fishing at Milford lake is pretty good and Melvern lake is an up an coming lake but...i dont have a boat. Its hard to justify a guided trip in the same state i live in let alone the same county. If i had a boat i would definitely be going to Milford Lake. Oklahoma has more options for lakes and more opportunities for bigger spoonbill.
