I did catch more than last year. However, I walk the dog almost every day on the bike path along the canal here. In past years it would be littered with yote tracks. No where near as much sign this year.

same story here in my neck of the woods in south central , il. very little coyote sign and my catch was wayyyy off. few friends killing them with horrible mange in my county. at first I thought it was hunting/trapping pressure .............now i'm convinced its a lot more.

If anyone is interested, ILL. coyotes (645) of them averaged $47.48 with a low of $1 and a top of $102.50 at the Colorado coyote sale last week. What are they bringing back there?

The most I heard so far was $68.00 finished. I sold one for $25.00 early and the rest are at NAFA. The average must be lower. The sale results are on Illinois Trappers facebook page

That seems pretty good to me. I'd certainly be happy with an average like that. Must've sent some well furred, well handled pelts.

I got one fifth the Coyotes last fall, of what I normally get, lady farmer saw young coyotes, said they were scruffy looking and staggering around, I think distemper hit hard again, people I talked to got adults only, same with me, one coon instead of about a dozen, it hit here 6-8 years ago

Some of us don't do Facebook.
Can anyone post the results on here. I looked at the Illinois state trappers website and no info. Thanks
Also, I sold 5 yotes and some coon on Nov 29th to the Grony truck. 3 of those went for 40, one for 30, one for 20. Those were green.
I'll be selling my later caught ones on the 21st when they come back to town.

I live in northern Peoria county.I haven't seen many at all.Deer hunting in southern Bureau county this year we had snow all season.
Never saw a coyote but diid see a couple tracks. That is unusual for that area.
