As I have stated before,the wall is part and partial of a whole border security plan. I trust the boots on the ground when they say it is badly needed and will aid them in doing their job of protecting Americans. And as has been said plenty of times,we need to close all the loopholes illegal intruders have taken advantage of. Take chapsticks billions and apply that to the wall.

As far as illegals coming across just to do work, I agree and have been advocating it for years. You could stop that type of illegal immigration first thing tomorrow morning by implementing heavy fines which rise in amount for repeat offending employers for knowingly hire illegals. But that does nothing to stop the drug cartels, sex traffickers, and terrorists. We need a wall and top end surveillance equipment. to control that.
