All those advocating for the Green New Deal should put up or shut up. Challenge them all to put their actions where their mouth is. Challenge them for the next year to use nothing that is fueled or manufactured with fossil fuels (including electricity). No gas powered cars or planes. No buildings heated with anything but solar or wind power. Find a neighbor that is "unwilling" to work and provide them a living wage. Challenge them all to LIVE every concept spelled out in the New Green Deal with zero exceptions for one full year!

Yup, it's called a "pilot project." Get a whole town to do it, no power except what they can get from solar or wind, no food other than what they can grow and process using solar and wind power, no fuel other than what they can produce (biofuel). No fertilizer, no metal, no information services, no medical services, etc. other than what they can produce or buy. Oh yeah, and they start off in debt for everything they have that was produced using fossil fuels or nuclear and have to pay it back. It's the "stone age."

I don't think it's possible to live today without the use of any petroleum derived products . Can't use electricity as at some point you'd have to have insulated wire. No plastic. Medicine has oil derived products. You'd have to go back to Stone age technology to live. So rocks, bones, sticks and mud are all your left with.

It's not what they actually want, but it's what they think they want. They just never take what they want in their thought to the logical conclusion. Some of the more extereme people out there would want the post-emp world...for you but not for themselves.
