I am looking for in depth and detailed instructional DVD's for Bobcat and Coyote trapping using leg hold traps in the southeast. Which DVD's would you recommend as the "best of the best" for each?

There are a lot out there and you can learn something from any of them. I suggest pick one from the type of area
You’re trapping in.

Bama,

My newest DVD on Coyote called Reducing the Numbers was filmed with Rusty Johnson in three states....SC, TX, and also in your state...AL. We trapped near Troy and Union Springs, AL.

Pretty hard to beat jLord's or Matt Jones for that part of the country. Most of the good information will transfer but you asked for something that covered the South East. Both guys know their stuff. As Mr. June mentioned part of the DVD he mentioned was filmed in AL. That is an excellent DVD on coyotes but is not focused on cats and you mentioned cats.

Mac is absolutely correct. My DVDs, like most, are filmed with a particular species in mind but a good predator set will catch both most times and that's how I go about my trapping day in, day out. I'm currently trapping (and will be until whitetail fawn drop in June-July) and when I set a set during these 6 months... I want BOTH coyotes and bobcats to be caught. I'm paid to take out both!

That being said there are very good specific methods on bobcats and sometimes you're on your knee pad, looking to ONLY catch a cat and for that we produced our Bobcat DVD in Nebraska, Louisiana, and Texas. No other bobcat DVD has this many states and the reason I spend the $$$ and took the effort to film a project in three states was we can show a more diverse number of tactics used based on where trappers live such as sets, methods, terrain, habitat, lure usage, weather and all the rest.

Plus, I have Terry Dowden from LA along with me in this DVD.
The price of $19.95 for this DVD is about the price of one central graded bobby!

I'm not really a Bobcat trapper. I've caught three. But I really liked Mark Juness advanced Bobcat video. For coyote, anything by JC Connors is excellent. But there are a lot of DVD's I haven't seen.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

JC Conner has the best coyote DVDs I've seen by far. He traps in the East and West in those videos. I've learned alot from them.
