Used to do a lot of 550 cord crafts ( bracelets, slings ,hammocks,hog hobbles for dog hunters and more) but after having folks always wanting somthing made it became more of a job than somthing to relive stress and give me somthing to focus on.

Any how got back messing around and learned how to do a round braid and whipped up this leash. It's only like 3ft long but figure I can use for somthing . Figured I'd show y'all

I agree and that is the size leash I use when road walking the dogs because there like them right beside me as we go down the road or when I want control over them in the field or woods

I would buy something like that no problem though I would want a heaver connection between the leash and the dog that split ring looks a bit flimsy

Well thank you. Some of the guys in my company who run dogs already asked if I can make them some stuff. I might just sell stuff I make instead of doing commissions, that just becomes too much of a job lol

I'm still trying to figure out the monkey fist it's harder than it looks.
It amazes me how much 550 it takes for some of the items

A little 3/16 round bar and a torch can make your own pretty quick Weld em with the same torch. You could even set you up a blacksmith shop and the next folks that rotate in would appreciate it too am sure. An old spool from a 88 would make a dandy anvil. Got to think like Klinger on MASH when deployed just forget the dress part.
