Anyone have any parts stashed for Tundra II’s? I’m looking for a chaincase cover. I can order a new one, but with shipping I was quoted $150+. Hoping to find a used one for less. So far eBay and Amazon haven’t produced for me. Been trying to call AK snowmachine salvage in Anchorage all last week but they apparently don’t like answering their phone. I’m assuming the number I have for them is correct, 349-8594. The machine is a 1999 but I think chaincase covers from the mid 90’s up through ‘05 will fit. Also I’m pretty sure it doesn’t matter if it comes off of a II or an R. Or does anyone have any other sources for Tundra parts in or outside of Alaska? Thanks a lot in advance!

I'm putting it in the mail tomorrow. I suspect we won't have a mail plane for 4 or 5 days because of the weather. Soon as it hits the road system it should get to you in a day.

All bets are off if it takes a special trip to another village. Pretty common. eek

There's a guy that lives in Eagle River that has a couple of Connex boxes full of parts and machines. That's what he told me. He has posted on Craigslist for Tundra's, I don't have his number. Check Craigslist adds.

Or Alaska Snowmachine Salvage in Anchorage, and my go to guy is Craig at Compeau's in Fairbanks, they have a lot of parts in stock for older machine's, sometimes yes and sometimes no.

My Super Wide will pull your broken down 4 stroke, up a hill backwards, with you on it!
