So the area I trap is owned by a timer company and it’s walk in only which I like
But for the last month people have been dumping trash and dead animals in front of the gate
I’m thinking about putting up a trail camera across the road and sending the picks to the land owner to get these scum bags fined up the wazoo

My wife had an idea though to put up a sign that says smile your on camera
And theres been a camera here for a month . You have 2 weeks to clean up your mess or your pictures will be turned over to the shariff

What do you guys think

see what the landowner thinks but sounds like a good idea.i pick up 4-5 bags of garbage every year so as not to have anyone think its me.game warden told me my truck was a disaster area inside during season one year,i told him"you show me a trapper with a clean truck and i'll show ya a litterbug."

I looked for mail while I was filling a trash bag up but no luck
My frustration is that we have two big timber companies out here that have tons of land 8 years ago one of them got so sick of the garbage that they closed it down unless you buy a 600 dollar yearly permit and they use that money to pay a guy to patrol it all year round if these dummies keep it up the other one will end up doing the same

this, and put the cams up high using a ladder, works like a charm, when we gather the proof so LE can have an open and shut case. BUT, make a copy SD card.

No not Weyerhauser
But you used to be able to run hounds in Weyerhauser without paying 600 for a permit

Most (not all) timber companies in Oregon are opposed to killing predators as part of their timber management protocol.

They want the predators to kill rodents, deer, elk, etc.

They used to do the hound thing here, but some do pay for other management strategies now as well.

Last I knew Washington uses the hound thing heavily for bear damage.
