You could develop a market. Stretch and dry a bunch. Then put on your thinking cap and figure out what to do with them. There is a market for beaver tails, why not muskrat tails.

Go to web sites like Etsy and other crafting web sites to give you ideas of where to start.

Smoke em and peel them and eat them like jerky or meat sticks. I'm sure they would be just as good as beaver tail. LOL

I contacted Groeny. I was surprised when they told me they won't buy tails from road killed squirrels. Hmmm. I wonder how they'd even know. In some cases if it's been run over several times I could see that being a concern.
