Started seeing a few bucks last week that had dropped so I made a few trips so far and found 5, 4 were fresh and one oldie. Anyone else having any luck?

Nice finds! If it would ever stop raining/Icing/snowing here i would find out. Been planning to get the wife and boys out when the ground dries a bit. Doesnt seem like its ever going to though.

I know where a few Whoppers have dropped but the snow is testicle deep.

Three feet of snow in the yard and ten in the mountains. We were finding sheds in January then it started snowing. It will be a while now, we received six inches last night and forecast is snow all week and below average temps.

I believe the bigger sheds drop earlier and the small are just starting to show up

Saw a cow horn here at the house this week with both of his.

Lol. I forgot about the deep snow for you northern guys, that would make them hard to find when they are 3-4 feet under

I had a buck in my yard years ago near Longville in mid April with a full 8 points per side. Maybe 13 inch spread. Not sure if that counts as big.

suprised i found half a 9 points rack 2 weeks ago and saw him again last night still holdin the other side.shakes his head often like he's outta balance or something.lot of the smaller bucks still holdin on here also.

I went to our Illinios lease last year the 3rd week of March and in a weekend we found close to 40 horns, but also saw some still holding. We jumped one that was 170" buck still carrying. So they definitely drop at different times

Found one side of a 4 pointer in a field. I put it next to my trap/bait seeing if it'd help......no. I'm just happy one buck made it after all the yahoos around here running them with dogs get done mowing them down.

I have found a couple so far some of them are hanging on to them here. The first one dropped mid Dec, but he had an injury. I found one side yesterday hoping to find the other side.

Dan Bishop told me once that chicken wire above well traveled trails help pile up the sheds. Another guy fed the deer under woven fence wire like a little bunker ,Also said it worked . Alas CWD has stopped that I think
