Another Fallon fur sale is in the books. Here are the final results. This is a cumulative of all 3 days. With an extremely low number of unsold pelts, I am considering the sale to be 100% sold

Don't get too excited about that top bobcat price. 1 cat out of almost 1200. And it is all about advertising and ego and bragging rights!!

I am rolling at the "1 coon". I don't know why I think it is so funny, but just the thought of a guy selling 1 coon really tickles me. I hope it was that Turman guy!

Awesome cat prices. Them coyotes averaged a little bit better than some guys averaged in Kentucky

Besides a couple of species there was hardly any fur there.Prices look ok though.

I have my Top Lot Award on the wall for a $125 badger. We may have to arm wrestle for that handle!

No one makes any bones about it Robert, it's a cat sale first and foremost followed by coyotes and grey fox. This sale is primarily supported by trappers from the west who don't trap much else.

I'm a weakling . . . how about WesternBadgerMaster???

On a serious note, I would like to thank Jim Curran and his staff of able-bodied, energetic and extremely experienced folks who every year make the sale a total success. They work hard and we leave with all the money so it hardly seems fair, but the sale would never get off the ground without Jim Curran and his troops. Thanks !!!!

That is a typical Nevada sale. Cats is THE item in Nevada. It has been that way for years and years.

So who is doing all of the Bragging from these Sales ? Colorado, Nephi, and Fallon ??

I had a couple cats close to the top. I seem to be close to the high priced cat every year but never get it. Plenty of cats over $1k mark

Wow!!! Over a half a millions dollars of just Bobcats there. Where is there another country sale that does that with the whole auction, much less one species?

Thompson Fur table comes to mind on marten

Marten is the big one at Thompson all right but they get a lot of other species in good quantities too.
