Cleaning the shop up at the end of the season and thinking someone surely has created a handy shelf or rack or some other means of a way to store wooden stretchers neatly and out of the way in the offseason. I am thinking of putting uni strut in the drying room for next year so I was considering just hanging a piece in the rafters now and getting the adapter pieces for the stretchers and hiding them up in the ceiling for the time being. Before I did anything though I figured I'd get some ideas from everyone else

I don't have a fur shed or anything fancy but mine are just laying across the rafters. Out of the way and easy to get to.

I attach a unistrut hanger to the end of my stretchers and have unistrut mounted to my ceiling. Just slide them right on the channel and they hang there with our without fur. Everything is up off the ground and organized by size

I use teacup hooks screwed in to 2x4s then screw the 2x4s into the ceiling. I then screw eye hooks into the bottom of my coon stretchers and rat boards i drill a hole in the nose. I have enough hooks for 200 hundred boards and with a 10 ft ceiling and the hooks along the edge of my building they are out of the way. I use a section of scaffolding with wheels on for my stretching with a bracket in the center that holds my boards as I pin my fur and the scaffolding holds my finished fur before I hang them.
