I have to agree with Walleye on this one. The poster has been asked several times for more info and if they are spoken for and PM, and haven’t seen any reply ?? While this number of coyotes by a group is conceivably possible in 3 days, I find it highly unlikely given the fact that I know more than a few experienced, top notch, dog hunting groups who have operated on Tughill Plateau, and the Eastern Ontario Lake plain in Jefferson County for 20+ years with GPS tracking Collars, Radios, Snowmobiles, and 4wd pickup networks that chase coyotes 7 days a week after Northern zone deer season closes. While they sometimes have their good days when everything comes together, the normal take is maybe a couple dogs every other day for a group of 8 to 10 guys. 35 in three days would be by far the exception rather than the norm. Odds are heavily against it. Especially after the season has been opened since October 1st, 2018. I could see that being the total for a weekend coyotes contest where are many dozens or hundreds of competitors. Again, not calling out 080808 but rather whoever gave him that info, their bluff has been called and no response has been forth coming. Excessive B.S..........15 YARD PENALTY !! w

Walleyed. These guys are probably not on Trapperman. I have sent contact info as requested by 2 guys on this site. Therefore no penalty yet only halftime. lol Fair enough. Timeout on the field. play will be suspended pending further review of the evidence. Film at 11:00 !! w

Foxpro sponsored coyote hunt was held last weekend in NY. There were 66 teams of 2 guys per team. Hunt started Friday evening and went through Sunday until the afternoon check in. Total of 43 coyotes checked in, top 4 teams accounted for 20 of them. I know two of those teams and they hunt hard, the best thermal/night vision gear, this is what they live for. Very little sleep over the 3 days. Hard to believe 6 or 8 guys going out casually the same weekend took 35.

Good ground, good hounds and a understanding of the roads/ lay of the land . I see it very possible. A calling contest is no way a better way ( numbers wise) to rack up big numbers in the east. Unless night hunting.
swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

Yotes gone.. Second game coming up I’m told. How's that miracle coyote killing team doing this weekend ? How many they got on the ground now ? 40 ?, 50 ?, 60 ? We unbelievers need an update with photos, videos, and a body count. w

Can someone help me understand this theory...
You can hunt coyotes in NYS until March 29th but only trap until February 15th (if I read correctly). I understand the pelts may not be prime but if people wanted to keep trapping just for learning sake, why not allowed?

My guess is cause the season on every other land furbearer ends 2/15. Are there any types of coyote sets that will not catch red fox, grey fox, coon, possum, skunk, fisher, bobcat? I'm not being sarcastic I just really don't know cause I never really got serious about K9 trapping. That.
